What is MIZUHIKI?

This article explains about Mizuhiki.

Mizuhiki is like a string and made from paper. Among papers, we use a traditional Japanese paper called ”Washi”.When we twist paper,  it becomes Mizuhiki. After it resembles a strings, we dye it various colors. 

Mizuhiki is made in this way, with the thickness being 0.4 inch and the length being 35 inch.

Currently , Mizuhiki is being made in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture.
